inside institutions. We are honored to bring the practice of stillness, zazen, sutras, mindfulness and awakening to one’s true self to those who are incarcerated or have chosen to step back from their past habitual ways…

and go into treatment facilities. This work happens inside jails, rehabilitation centers, treatment facilities and other locations where some of our most vulnerable are housed or gather to do important spiritual work.

This work also includes our activities in caring for the community, with outreach programs of bag lunches, cleaning the streets to help others and in turn, caring for ourselves.

And as Mother Teresa said, “There should be less talk. A preaching point is not a meeting point. What do you do then? Take a broom and clean someone’s house. That says enough.” said Mother Theresa.
